I learned that the hard way. As a litigation lawyer, I could hold a room and argue a case. But I spent years second-guessing whether I was in the right room at all.

Turns out that question was the most important one I ever asked. Now I help others ask it too, and find their footing on the other side.

This book started as another book draft. Then, something happened: I stopped crowdsourcing my confidence and started trusting my own voice. This is the book that emerged; the chapters I was meant to write.
